Description
Over a period of time your skin naturally exfoliates itself, but as we get older this process slows down and we develop a thicker stratum corneum (outer layer of dead skin). The Silhouette microdermabrasion machine gently abrades this layer by peeling away the dead skin cells using aluminium oxide crystals. The microdermabrasion crystals are applied to the skin under pressure using a vacuum to either apply a deep or gentle exfoliation, depending on your client's needs. Once the dead skin cells are abraded away, they are removed via vacuum suction along with the crystal into a sealed, filtered waste container. Collagen production is also stimulated as a result of this microdermabrasion machine's exfoliation treatment and the vacuum suction, making fine lines appear reduced and giving the skin a softer, suppler feel.
